
Governance Training Opportunity!!!
Governance Training will equip members with essential knowledge and skills for effective leadership. It will cover topics such as roles and responsibilities, legal and ethical standards, decision-making processes, and risk management. The training emphasizes the importance of diversity, team dynamics, and accountability in governance. Ultimately, it aims to enhance board/committee performance and ensure members meet their goals and responsibilities.
Bimose Tribal Council Communities include the Following:
• Asubpeeschoseewagong Netum Anishinabek (Grassy Narrows First Nation)
• Eagle Lake First Nation
• Iskatewizaagegan #39 Independent First Nation
• Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation
• Washagamis Bay First Nation
• Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation
• Shoal Lake #40 First Nation
• Wabaseemoong Independent Nations
• Wabauskang First Nation
• Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation
Bimose Tribal Council will cover the cost of 2 parents or guardians from each of the Bimose Tribal Council affiliated Communities.
The parents/guardians must have a child currently attending elementary or high school. The student must attend school within their community, or must be a resident of the community.
* Priority will be given to Parents/Guardians who have successfully completed previous training modules
* Submitting the registration form does not guarantee your place in the training. An email will be sent on Monday, March 17, 2025, to confirm your registration.
