Position Title: Elementary Teacher

The school serves students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8 and is committed to providing a high-quality, culturally responsive learning environment that supports student achievement, well-being, and community values.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate student records and reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license as required by Ontario regulations.
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
- Proficiency in educational technology and classroom management.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with differentiated instruction.
- Knowledge of current teaching methodologies and assessment practices.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
