You're Invite to our Fall Language Feast

Aambe! Join us as we come together to sit in ceremony and feast our language, Anishinaabemowin. "Niwiiwiikongendomin Gidanishinaabemowinaan, Feast & Gathering", September 16 & 17, 2023! Registration is now open!

We will honour our language and also recognize our Anishinaabemowin teachers, fluent speakers and learners. Calling all Anishinaabe language speakers and learners! Whether you're a fluent speaker or just starting your journey, this event is for YOU. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Anishinaabe language. Connect with fellow language enthusiasts and learners. Teachers are encouraged to attend.

Date: September 16 & 17, 2023
Time: 9am - 4pm CST, each day
Location: Wauzhushk Onigum Round House
Host Community: Wauzhushk Onigum Nation

Travel and accommodations will be covered for Language Speakers from Bimose communities on a first-come, first-serve basis (all other participants are responsible for travel and accommodations).
Rough camping will be available at the roundhouse (Pow-Wow style) for those wishing to stay overnight.
